Zinda is sobering up -- slowly -- but the sleepiness bought on by the consumption of a fair amount of alien alcohol is still very much present. "I thought you told me you weren't gettin' paged on vacation, sug," she mumbles. She's still leaning on the other blonde.
There's a pause as the Blackhawk lifts her head, a frown of intense attempt at recollection on her face. "I know her, don't I? Send her to me, I'll kick her worthless li'l patootie from here to Mars."
Arisia leans in and kisses Zinda's cheek softly. "She needs it but I'm not going to give her a chance at you, sweetheart." The smaller elfin blonde looks up at Kilowog.
Arisia smiles at Kilowog. He is always there to back her up. There is a concerned look toward Zinda and then she looks back at Kilowog. He can probably hear the gears turning in her brain.
Hell, he can probably guess what she's going to say once they finish turning.
Sobriety can come on fast when seriousness and adrenalin demand it. She straightens. "Sug, if I were afraid of bein' hurt, I wouldn't have signed on with the Blackhawks."
Arisia wears the frown on her face and it doesn't seem that it is going away at all. It is so hard to just let her be. She is strong and resourceful and all of that but... This is /STAR SAPPHIRE/.
His head tilts toward Riz.
Wordlessly expecting an update.

The worry is evident in his eyes.

John owe her more. Arisia's lips flatten out at that as she extends a hand to Kilowog. She'll let John know about it, in case he doesn't already.

"Can you make sure she's safe while I do what I need to do?"
