The remnants of the Christmas Eve party litter the bar in the form of empty bottles, paper plates, streamers, silly string, confetti and wrapping paper. It's the earliest hours of Christmas morning, and Zinda is still here -- she helped cook, after all, so she'll stick around to help Arisia clean up.
It could get interesting. She's had most of a bottle of Jack.
For once, she's not in her familiar Blackhawk uniform; shucking it in favor of a top that the other woman had given her a couple of years ago. It's a low-cut number -- in black with glittering accents, of course -- paired with comfortable black slacks. Snowflake earrings and her Blackhawk dog tags, which remain permanently around her neck, complete the outfit. Admittedly, it's a little rumpled after a full night of dancing and drinking.
Her hand goes back to her pocket for what must be the hundredth time, fingers curling around the small velvet box briefly. Then she pauses at the table to knock back the last of her latest shot, and sets about piling empty dishes up to take them to the kitchen.
