Approaching Sunset in An Already Dark City

Getting the warrant wasn't the issue. Finding the house wasn't the issue. Getting through Gotham traffic at rush hour because Thorne chose to die a a bad time? A bit of an issue for two cops who are at present worse for wear.

The five squad cars come to a jarring halt outside of a large, almost tower-like home in Gotham's upper West end. If you squint a little, it looks less like some fashionable "Miami-Vice," inspired '80's show home and more like a gothic turret missing the rest of its castle. The impression grows as the sun slips lower and casts longer shadows.

There are three lights on in the place. One looks like a stairwell, and the other two are like lighthouse beacons on either side of the place shining out to people who likely don't care. Oh, and then there's the 5 Dobermens making a riot of noise and the fashionable iron fence that's about the height of one and a half Detective Allens.
