By the gods!

Something very strange is happening in the dimension of Mount Olympus. If it can be called a dimension. It's difficult to describe really. One day it might be an interplanar realm, another it might be a country. One night it could be an island in an impossibly large sea, while another time it could be a kingdom in the clouds.

Either way, ( Read more... )

One of the few villains unable to escape from the Watchtower during the raid conducted by the Legion of Doom; until now Savitar has been suspended upside-down in an admittedly pleasant cell in order to prevent his use of the Speed Force.

The masked maniac watches moodily as the electronic locks to his cell are all disabled and the alarms are all bypassed. His cell door slides aside and he finds himself not only free from his bonds but also charged with speed, more than ever before.

Savitar feels the power of Hermes coursing through his veins, his mind, his heart, and with an elated shout he bursts into the corridor, charging through the Watchtower and into the teleporter the exact same moment as the one known as Gypsy is using it.

The killer wastes no time in beginning a supersonic sprint around the world to test his new limits. He tears up land, rips through buildings and animals, all he smiles all the while.

"I am a god!!"

Deep undercover on a mission for the Suicide Squad, Dr. Light scowls as he pulls his collar up and conceals his face. He had never had any intention of serving with this group of morons again, yet here he is. When the choice came between spending the rest of his life in a forgotten part of Alcatraz or join up with Task Force X, Arthur chose the latter option ( ... )

Bronze Tiger ducks as a beam of white hot light fires an inch over his head, and stares open-mouthed at the suddenly godlike Dr. Light.

As the madman disappears he raises his communicator to his mouth. "Waller, the mission has been compromised. Light went nuts and became... well... Light, I guess."

There is something wrong.

Diana doesn't know what it is, yet, but there has been some sort of change in the make-up for the world as she understands it. It is a ... fundamental change in the truth of the world. Still, this isn't the first one of those nor will it be the last.

"Diana, are you okay?" Wonder Woman and the Flash had been investigating an old Injustice League base deep in the Congo when Barry noticed his colleague and friend shudder.

He's by her side in an instant. "You look like you've seen a ghost."

"I feel much like that, I am sure." Diana frowns for a few moments longer before giving her friend a small smile. "It is not nothing but sometimes nothing apparent comes of the changes I notice."

"Well if you're sure..." Barry is off again and scouring the next level of the station for one of Punch & Jewelee's bombs that's supposedly been hidden there. It's not that he's uncaring; it's just that he has a short attention span compared to some people.

"Found it!" The Flash reappears in, well, a flash, holding an oversized marionette in his hand. "This thing's got an electromagnetic neutraliser in it, from what I could tell by examining the circuitry, but I have to admit I didn't examine it for very long.."

And in Opal City, the shadows in an already shadowy room grow thicker, blacker. The dark man who is re-reading Dickens stops and glances up, his fingers pausing on the page, his eyes narrowing ( ... )

Veronica Dale is taken by surprise, but stands up, kicks her chair back draws a pistol from her ankle holster in a burst of speed.

"Oliver. Looks like we both have a skill when it comes to resurrections."
