Comment, and I will give a prompt (a word or song title or something random), and then you will go and write a wee little ficlet of kissing for your current favorite OTP. (You can include a prompt for me, too, if you'd like, and I'll either pick the first one or which ever I like best. Or else I'll just choose something random for myself. It's my game; I can do what I want. ;)) And then just post yours in your own journal, and make your f-list happy, too, because who doesn't like fictional smoochings?
Ok, so it's been one hell of a long time since I've done any creative writing (probably since highschool, actually) and today this popped up in deense's LJ. Distraction is a good thing, right? So I thought I would give it a shot. Not sure if it what she is looking for, but hey, I had the oppotunity to not think about going to China for a while ;)
[EDIT: OTP (for those like me who don't know) is One True Pairing. If you know me well enough, you'll know what that is for me. Actually, I have two, but I'm writing about one of them.]

Unpacking...
She sighed heavily and readied herself to advance, steeling herself for what was to come. This was to be the toughest part of the beginning campaign, but she would get through it. Fear. Apprehension. Loneliness. Insecurity. Isolation. The Unkown. All waiting with pointed halbard to fend off the willing, with happy, comfortable memories held at ransom.
A bugle called and she felt the rush of anticipation as she charged towards the towering rampart of boxes. Stanley knife at the ready and jaw set, she knew she was armed adequately for the task, there would be no stopping her now. Except…
Noella sat atop the wall of boxes, grinning, holding the fort and defying her mother from breaching the ramparts to start their life anew. It was a welcome distraction. She dropped her weapons and swept Noella up in her arms. A sloppy kiss on the lips and the siege could wait a while longer. It was a beautiful day outside and there was a whole new country to explore.
