School and the like

So school has started and my classes aren't too bad. There is the occasional psychotic teacher but I've decided that it's more amusing than scary. Mr. Demarco is pretty eccentric but pretty cool so far. This should be an interesting year in the 2 classes I have with him. Hopefully he won't break my back with AP biology and anatomy. I tend to get there relatively early so I get a seat in both classes, which is extremely lucky of me since there doesn't seem to be enough room at any one given time. Mr. Jette is also one of these eccentric teachers. He seems really enthusiasthic about what he teaches and he's pretty funny so I don't think I have to worry about in economics. I decided to slack off and take regular economics instead of macro economics. So sue me! Mr. Kilmer isn't so crazy but he, again, is funny. I think I'm going to like his class. I usually like math class anyway so it's an added bonus. I'm really excited about orchestra this year because we have some pretty good players. Last year, the seniors weren't a very strong group, so we weren't very good. This year I think we'll be able to do something substantial though. In the 3rd concert, I'm going to be concert mistress! Really psyched about that. The only thing I don't like about the schedule this year is that I only have lunch every other day. That sorta sucks but whatever, I'll deal. I miss summer already. Something about being carefree and well rested just appeals to me. I know, I'm weird.

Our first rehearsal for the Messiah is this Sunday. We're doing a runthrough on the 1st part. The chorus has already got the 1st part down and were working on the 2nd part the last time I checked. I think a little more practice on the good ol' fiddle is in order.
