ITS OVER!!!
Finally, Seussical is over! Saturday was the last show. It wasn't a bad musical, and I liked the music, but I just got a little tired of it all after the umteen thousandth time I heard it. I had fun while doing it though. Rehearsals were interesting to say the least. I almost miss Dan's bad jokes...almost. I would have liked to stay in touch with the pit but I didn't think of it at the time. Oh well. Whats done is done.
After the show on Saturday we packed up and went over to Bucca Dipeppo's for dinner. I don't think you understand how much food there was. I mean you have no idea. We just sat around for a few minutes before Dave took charge of the ordering and started calling out the different groups of food on the menu. We ended up spending about $450 on dinner. Like I said, you don't understand how much food there was. It was a miracle that we actually walked out of there instead of rolling. It was a lot of fun, and we ended up going to Dave's house for a party that night. That was an adventure in itself. Me and Gen got lost on the way there, and had to call Dave for directions to his house. I swear, if he wanted to, he could make a living giving people directions. They would call him...the Global Positioning System, or GPS for short! Oh wait, they already have that. Or they could call him Dave. It was a lot of fun. They're a fun group to hang out with, if a little eccentric.
Yesterday was Alex's birthday. He is finally 18 and can be tried as an adult. Thank God! That kid has been nothing but trouble since the day I met him. It was a lot of fun, despite being almost set on fire...again...by Annie this time, and being hit in the head by a marshmellow, and being his by a soccer ball, and gaining a new 2 year old best friend. But other than that it was great! We ended the night by watching Project Runway until 1:30 in the morning. Great stuff.
