I could post about the past two weeks of travel ...
but I keep on getting distracted by various shiny and not so shiny things (and the mundane as well)

I used to kayak a lot when I was younger - ocean/lake but not white water (though I was once able to eskimo roll quite well) - nay chance I got when I was at summer camp, at Tahoe, whenever I could rent a kayak and go, but never had room to store one so I never bought one and fell out of the habit for the most part.
It's collapsible and transparent to boot. Must.resist.temptation.
