Building wire harnesses, getting right with Jesus.

After work I went to help Tick Mark move into his new place.  He’s moving right above this place called The Cheese Shoppe, which is pretty cool.  The place is alright, reminds me a lot of the Elm Street house, except both bedrooms are the size of Zack/Lindsey’s with a huge living room.  After getting all the rest his crap inside and a few buckets of sweat later, it came down to just his big ass couch.  It was given to him by his grandmother who passed, and very well taken care of.  She had plastic AND blankets ontop of it so it wouldn’t get messed up.

Well after about 45 minutes of trying to get this huge fucker through this tiny ass door frame Tick Mark gives John, another guy from our class that lives close to him a call.  He tells him to bring a jigsaw, a stable gun, and a exacto blade  “We’re performing reconstructive surgery on a couch.”  They peel back the fabric and foam and cut off the very top of this couch, to make it fit.  To be fair after they tucked in the foam and stabled the back of it back on, from the front you can’t tell a damn thing.

Today we started on our practical test.  Which is basically building a wire harness and starting to do some terminations of the wire into different connecters, I got a few pictures.  We’ll be doing this till Friday when we are going to take the final test and Monday we start the apprenticeship.  I already signed up to work second shift sense they need a few of us to do it anyway.  You make like 5% more for doing it, and it’ll keep me from going out every night and doing dumb shit, so we’ll see how it goes.
