This is a serious business and some of the participants seem
to be broadcasting to the judge and jury that they don't take
it very seriously. What we think if this isn't quite as important
as what other participants do.

However I stand by the idea that she may, as someone who has travelled recently going to provide moral support at a trial that she isn't so much as a witness to, there are more reasons for her appearance than the knee-jerk "she's filling the role of Eve the Temptress in our morality play." Given the way she gets jumped on every time she's mentioned in any context. . . well.
I'm very sorry about jumping on you; the blackening of her name upthread is irritating me. -.- I shall leave this topic to cooler heads now.
