Everything is starting to come together...
We still don't know whether or not Philip will get into MECEP, but we do have a plan if he doesn't.
While we wait for base housing (if, after seeing it, we still decide we want to live there), we will have a month to month lease at Beacham Apartments. It's less than a stop light away from his base and super cheap. We'll share a car until I get a job (hopefully this won't take long). Copper will stay with my parents until we decide we have enough space for him to be comfortable. We will do our best to live entirely off of Philip's pay check so that all of mine can go into savings. Once we have a nice chunk saved up, we will begin house hunting (probably a couple of years away).
I have a letter ready to send to all of my higher-ups, but my dad thinks I should wait to give it to them until October... I tend to agree because they could just say, "Why should we keep you around if you aren't sure you're staying anyway. Goodbye!" So, I'll send them the notice (which pretty much just says, "I might be staying, but I might not.") the first or second week of October. Unless they ask specifically beforehand, of course.
If he doesn't get in, I would like my last day to be November 12. We aren't going on a honeymoon any more due to the craziness, but it would be nice to have a week to pack and move everything.
So there you have it. This is the plan should we have to move in November. ^_^
