Sigh
Val left in the wee hours of the morning, on his way to Denver to visit his family. So, I've got 3 days of "single" parenting ahead of me. I also have a 5 page paper due on Thursday and research to complete on the child development theorist Gesell for a 30 minute presentation the following Thursday. Should be fun huh! I have a feeling that Biz and I won't be doing much this weekend but I'm going to try to get out at least a little bit each day as it's supposed to be a lovely weekend.
For as stressed as I am about school, I am managing to manage the work load pretty well. I'm staying current on the readings. Typically I read as Biz naps. It used to be that I had to have the TV or radio on when I studied but lately I've noticed that it is just too distracting for me and I wasn't retaining much of the information. More evidence of my aging brain I guess.
