Christmas 2005
This year's Christmas is a quiet one - simple and quiet. As usual, I opened my presents once the short and long hands of the clock hit twelve. Like last year, I kept all the tags. Everytime I receive a present, I always make sure to get it so that whenever I feel really bored, or really sentimental, I'll open my tin can and rifle through the tags. :P
Christmas Break
I can't remember what I did for Christmas break last year... seriously. I think I might have selective amnesia. But this break, I've been over-indulging on movies, chocolates, cookies and books. It's just the second week and I've already finished my book list. I've finished The Magician's Nephew (the first book in the series of the Chronicles of Narnia), Inkheart, Rosie Dunne (again), The Time Traveler's Wife (again), A Mother's Gift by Britney and Lynne Spears (again... surprisingly, the mother-daughter duo didn't do such a bad job at writing a book), and Skipping Christmas (again).
I think it's pretty obvious that I need to buy more books to keep myself occupied.
I also spent most of my break watching movies on HBO, Cinemax and Hallmark. I've re-kindled my lost addiction to The Nanny; watched Two Weeks Notice, Peter Pan, Down with Love, Eve's Christmas, Garfield, Harry Potter 3, Troy, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Kate and Leopold...
On the DVD side, I've watched Prime, Elizabethtown (super cute movie), Le Divorce, She's All That, Center Stage, The Princess Diaries 1 & 2, Serendipity...
I've officially become a couch potato. Actually, it's not couch potato, it's more of bed potato.
The only times I get up involve a need to go to the bathroom, eat, pop popcorn, get chocolate, go to the kitchen and grab a glass of water and have my room cleaned, besides that, I pretty much hole up in my room straining my eyes and pigging out on popcorn and chocolate.
