job position
ok so i was waiting for the shuttle after my fine arts class to day
when i got a phone call from a number that ii didnt recognize. i almost
missed the call cause the phone was buried in my backpack and i could
barely hear it ringing. i was a little hesitant about answering it
cause i didnt know who the number belonged to but i answered it
anyways. apparently it was the supervisor of the office that i had a
job interview for back in the beginning of october. i was actually glad
that she called cause ive been meaning to call them about that. its
been like a month and a half since i had my interview and i didnt know
if they made the dicision yet. well today i got my answer...
YAY! I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so im supposed to start working after thanksgiving. first i hafta do this student worker orientation thingy online and i have to go down the student employment office to prove im a real person (ie: drivers license, social security card, etc). but im excited cause i didnt think i would acutally get the position. the job is doing some graphics with making brochures, pamphlets, and other such things at the Institute for Sustainable Energy at ECSU. although the building isnt actually on campus. the building itself is on main street and the university owns and rents out the top floor to other businesses i think. i didnt particularly want to work off campus but this is like 2 blocks away from the campus border and its the only job i could find. i dont qualify for financial aid and most jobs on campus are work-study only. there was one other job i applied for that is making wepages in the library but i havent heard from them either. but id rather have this job anyways.
