We finally played Small Worlds last night, a game the girls got me for Christmas. It was fun, I like that it can also be played by 2 people, that way Paul and I will have another thing to do on evenings when we are both home. We all had a good time, and it didn't take too long to play, even though we had to figure out how it works. Jess won, but it was close all around.

I had to reschedule JP's vet appointment for today to later in the week due to a meeting popping up for this afternoon. Not a big deal, it's just his check up.

The new project is kinda crazy. The client PMO and the client lead editor don't really seem to know what they are doing. They are relaying on us a lot to figure things out for them. Yesterday my CSR was sick, so I had to do my job and hers. That's just too much to keep track of, especially if over time isn't allowed. But I managed it and did a good job.

I finished the podiobook Ravenwood by Nathan Lowell yesterday. I really like his sci-fi Solar Clipper series and this foray into fantasy was just as good. Though I must say, besides the antagonists, everyone in his world seems to get along well and reacts very calmly to adversary. It might just be Nathan's voice though. Good listen, nice mythology, and it sounds like it's the first in a series following one witch-woman. Grade: A
