D&D went well last night, I think. We started a bit late, so I expected some info digging and then the first encounter of the new dungeon, but they went right on into the second encounter and some of them even wanted to go onto the third, even with most of us having to work this morning. But I had a headache and Paul was worried about him being tired today, so we called it quits around 11:30. Jess even said, "But the story is just getting interesting." That felt good.
I have been reading some of Wil Wheaton's posts about when he was DMing for his step-son and his friends and thinking how much cooler his descriptions and style is than mine. I need to not stress about that and remember that Wil has had acting classes and is also a writer, two traits I really don't share. The players all seem to being having fun, and so am I, that is what is important.
No Avatar tonight, Lari is still sick and apparently all of the shows are still packed. Maybe next week. Thanks to
anothersuperboy I have the Dr Who Christmas special to watch, and I hope to do that tonight.
Back to work...
