(no subject)
Due to overtime put in on Wednesday, I was able to leave early yesterday and spend the afternoon with Paul on his day off. He had a gift card to Express and wanted to spend it, plus pick up some shorts and a bag to take his golf clubs to St. Croix. First we stopped at a new(ish) restaurant on the Square that Paul has noticed on his way to work. It's call Sucre, and specializes in desserts, coffee and wine. Very yummy, and open late so we can hit it after dinners. We then spent a nice afternoon shopping at West Towne mall. I got some new comfy pants, as the elastic and draw string on my current pair was ripping out. Ate at PF Chang's, which was nice but not spectacular. Then we played Scrabble, and I broke his (approximately) two month winning streak. It's not too much fun to loose all the time. Nice date type evening, we don't get too many of them.
Tonight is volleyball after work. I need to stop by a used clothing place to get a new coat. My current coat is still great, but it just doesn't work well when I go to play volleyball. It's a nice coat, and I don't like draping it over a chair at a bar where people are changing shoes all the time. So I need a short cut one, thats still warm. But as I won't wear it much, used is fine. It'd be nice if it looked good too.
