I got back late late last night from vacation and I had an awesome time!! It was seriously like one of the best vacations I can remember. Friday when we got out from school, I ran some errands and then came home so we could celebrate Christmas with the family. Saturday morning, Benton and I went to the movies before I left. Then, I finished packing all my stuff and we headed out. Our boat left from Tampa on Monday and came back the following Friday. First, we had a day at sea and the weather was pretty overcast. That night was the Captains Gala Toast so it was a formal night. Then, we were at the Bahamas for the next day. There, we toured the island and went to Ardastra Gardens to see the marching flamingos. That was pretty interesting…they actually listened to their director guy. Then, we had a day at sea before we went to Puerto Rico for Christmas Eve. We had a long drive to get to the rainforest. While we were there, it rained-go figure! But it was sooo pretty and there was countless plants and animals. We skipped dinner that night because we got back late. There was this big Christmas celebration that night with carols and they even had a Santa. That night, Erin and I opened up our presents that mom had brought on the boat. We both got digital cameras so we took zillions of pictures for the rest of the trip. Christmas day, we got up early and ate a nice breakfast and then went to the beach in St. Thomas. We went to Meagans Bay which is one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world. It was so pretty and the mountains all around looked amazing. That night was the second formal night so we had a great dinner and took pictures. Then, the next day was Sunday at St. Martin where we went to the beach again. We went to Orient Bay where there were lots of water sports you could do. We wanted to stay there for awhile, but my dad and sister aren’t beach people. I don’t know what their problem is?! So, we headed out of there and then went to the pool on the boat. Monday we went to Tortola, where we took a boat to the Virgin Gorda and then went to the Baths. My dad and I went all through these caves and it was really interesting. There wasn’t too much to do there, everyone on the boat was joking like you would be bored after an hour….pretty much. Tuesday and Wednesday we were at sea, so we slept late and then just hung out around the boat. We played bingo so many times and went to Battle of the sexes-ohh what fun!! I felt really sick on Tuesday and the seas were very rough, it was storming like crazy. Wednesday was the last formal night, so it was kinda sad. We took pictures with our waiters and they did their little farewell thing. I sooo did not want to come home. So, Thursday we were at Key West which was pretty neat. I’d never been there before, so we just walked around and looked at some shops. We got back on the boat because it headed out from there early, so we started to pack up all our stuff. We got to Tampa Friday morning and got off the boat. During the whole trip, I took so many pictures because it was so beautiful. Everyone in my family really enjoyed it and we talked about doing it again. I can only HOPE! So, we headed over to the hotel to pick up our car and then went to my aunt and uncles house. I spent New Years there which was lots of fun. It was great to see them, even though I just did like a month ago :)

Then, we left there Saturday morning and drove home the entire day. It was 12 hrs. but it wasn’t that bad. I thought I’d be really bored, but I was pleasantly surprised. We got home at 11 and then we went through all of our stuff. I got a Christmas card from bryan…wow..i didn’t expect that at all, but very nice indeed. Today, I cleaned up my room and put away stuff that we had packed. I went over to Bentons house to exchange gifts. It seems like everyone elses break was filled with lots of fun times. Yay! So, back to school tomorrow…oh well!!

I got into Longwood. It’s not my first choice, but still nice to know.

I am really excited about the rest of this year.
