And there was much rejoicing... Yay!

*Melpomene the Muse: It's about freakin' time! I thought I was going to have to call in reinforcements and order more Writer Motivating Devices. Geez. I'm exhausted!*

CRIMSON SWAN revisions are finally done and off to the editor!

*Mel: Oh, Happy Dance of Murderous Joy, you actually sent it. After staying up for 26 hours straight to finish that last bit, I thought you may have forgotten to hit "send," but you didn't. Good writer. You get a cookie.*

Yes, my Minions, I have indeed survived Revision Hell. Hopefully, if we have to go through yet another round of editing it won't be nearly as extensive or intensive as this last round. (Please, Gods, if you are fair and just and like me one tiny iota, you'll let me move on to Book 2.)

*Mel: Don't hold your breath, sweet cheeks. Technically, you're in Revision Purgatory. You don't officially move out of Hell until Ms. Editor gives you the "thumbs up."*

Any the interim, I'll be keeping busy. CoastCon 32 in Biloxi, MS is this weekend and I'm gearing up for that. Should be a lot of fun. I'm really looking forward to being back in my home state. And, next weekend, I'll be off to ImagiCon in Birmingham, AL. That should be a blast as well.

*Mel: Don't forget all that other stuff you need to do. You still need to work on HELLFIRE. And finish plotting Book 2. Oh, and then there's the Oracle launch party at USA on April 4. *sigh* Where's my Writer Motivating Device catalog? I think I'm gonna need to break out the big guns.*

Today is a running errand/prep for the weekend day. So I'd better hit the pavement. Lots to do.

*Mel: Oh, now you're motivated! Gah! I give up. I need my Gothic Beauty magazine and bon bons...*
