And so we know

Being that I've had this LiveJournal account for a couple of years now with no real purpose beyond commenting on other LJ user pages, I thought it was time for a change.

From this point on - that is, until I get sick of it, or until I get a publishing deal that requires me to remove my presence here - this site will be where I will be publishing my short fiction pieces.

Things to keep in mind:
1) First and foremost, everything published here is, in fact, copyright MINE. No, really. It's very easy to do, takes a stamp and an envelope. It's mine. For better or worse, I own the hell out of this crap.

(That means if you like it, just print a link back to this site, rather than have a legal whammy placed upon you. If you liked it, and would like to showcase it on your blog, then I am already flattered, so it's simply a matter of sending me an email asking permission, which it is entirely possible I will grant, as long as you also print the proper author information. I'm not doing this to be smarmy. I'm doing it because legally speaking, the internet is a horrible quagmire and we all need to take steps to protect our intellectual property. End of lecture.)

2) It's not all going to be good. I mean, I think it's good, and I've gotten a few secondary opinions, but let's face it, the bias is there. So if you don't like it, there is a cookie out there that is tough, and it may just have your name on it.

Okey-doke. Now that I've ingratiated myself into all of your hearts, let's go. There's about ten stories or so I'd like to publish here, which I'll do at a pace of about one a week.

Thanks for reading. It actually does mean a lot.

Cheers,
Holland
