((surprise! ..got an email from LJ saying that someone claiming to be me had asked for my password. I read a few of your entries and decided to write. We'll see if it sticks))
Well, happy birthday to me - hope to spend it with friends and family, and not be too hungover to get to work at 8am on the 6th :-p. My uncle and cousin are down from Eugene (OR, for any of you reading this who aren't Joesph), which is always a good time - I'm really lucky in that I get along with my extended family. I was worried that they were here to visit my grandmother for one last time, but today she was much more vital than I've seen her in quite awhile. Hopefully it's not just a brave facade, but she's exactly the type to do that kind of thing. Still, she really does enjoy being with family, and I'm glad they're here. For now, life ticks on - another year, more chances gone, more ground to make up - and some new opportunities, new directions revealing themselves. I've just got to keep some forward motion, some learning, some excitement. M.R. calls it a quarter-life crisis..
also, ran into a fifthgrade crush just before halloween, finally emailed her today and got a light response this afternoon. Replied with an option for invitation to the party this weekend.
oh, if only they knew how they wreck us....
