Start to the poetry thing...
I'm pretty drunk and it's almost 5 am. I'm bored as shit and need something to do. I figure one thing I can do in start writing. I'm thinking about going to the 2006 National Poetry Slam in Austin. It's August 9-12. Anyway, I'm thinking about writing some stuff, so I'll probably start posting pieces that I was told I might get to perform at some of the bouts if I volunteer.
Apparently the slam enlists the assistance of sacrificial performers to help get the audience into it. Wouldn't that kick ass if I could pull that off?
