last night i went out with a friend and had a wonderful time. we ended up going to the mam and seeing the 'cut' exhibit. it was really interesting, along with a little craziness. i got a bit sucked in to a few of the pieces. others made me feel i was going to lose my mind. nonetheless, totally worth the $. i hadnt been to the mam in so long, i guess since the new portion had opened up with the georgia o'keefe exhibit. i should not forget about the beauty of this museum.
afterwards we went and had dinner outside at the alterra by the lake. to our luck, there was a free florentine opera concert going on.. honestly, it was so beautiful. the music, the perfect weather, the perfect company, and good conversation.
one other thing to top off my night? a wonderful and loving fiance who curled the back of my hair before i left because i couldnt reach it. there are not many men out there that are willing to do this anymore... or ever for that matter. its such a simple task, yet reminds me repeatedly why i love him so much.
