A Wasted Three Hours
Great. Just perfect.
Three hours of work on a player character for the Rocket Age RPG game that I'm scheduled to run at CanGames 2013 in two weeks down the drain.
I finished off the write-up and game stats on the character, and was getting ready to take a break off the computer. So what do I do? I accidentally delete the file in OpenOffice and discover there's no way to recover it. And when I check the place where deleted files go, there's no copy of the file backed up there as there should be.
Makes my day.
So after tonight's hockey game, I'll be re-writing (from memory, I hope) the entire character that I've just deleted.
Between this and the heat of the day, it's just not my day today. *sigh*
