Sunday Morning Post

Jan 13, 2013 11:01

Yesterday was another long and exhausting afternoon doing the grocery shopping for both myself and my mother, with spross's assistance.

Needless to say, by the time I got home with my stuff around 6:25 pm, my back was hurting something fierce, and I hadn't had any food since lunch at 12:00 (not smart for a diabetic). I was plain exhausted. I finished unpacking and putting groceries where they had to go by around 7:15, and then it was time to make some supper. By the time I finished eating supper and cleaning the dishes, it was close to 8:45, and I was too tired to do much of anything else. Needless to say, I didn't do any work on the gaming stuff that needed to be made ready for today, nor did I accomplish much else. I crawled into bed around 10:45 pm, and read for about an hour - and then didn't fall asleep until close to 1:00 am.

In the meantime, I woke up to find that it's raining outside about 60C (ridiculous weather for January). I had some croissant and café au lait with some celery for breakfast, and have been napping since then. Just finished doing a bit of stuff for the afternoon game of Primeval RPG with the Sunday gaming group (if two players can be described as a "gaming group"). Looking forward to playing, but wish I had more players.

Anyway, time to shower.
