A Long Saturday
I've had a somewhat long day today.
I spent the morning trying to recover from the drive out to Ottawa's west end for the Friday night game, as the driving did not help my back at all, and now my driving foot and leg are hurting me something fierce. I did manage to get some laundry done, so that was a plus, but I've not been able to fold said laundry and put the stuff from the washer into the dryer. Maybe tomorrow.
The afternoon was a mess. I wanted to get a bit of work done on some of the gaming stuff that I need to do, but didn't have the desire and was feeling too ill to do so. In the meantime, I had to do some major grocery shopping for myself, and also needed to buy groceries for my mother as well (who is at home after her surgery, but can't really go out to do these things); I also needed to pick up my prescription at the pharmacy, so... spross came over after he got off work around 3:00 pm or so, and we went over to mom's so she could give me her list and some money, and then we went to various stores. Suffice it to say, by the time I got back to the house and spross helped me unload the car it was already after 6:00 pm, and by the time I got the groceries unpacked and all, it was close to 7:00 pm.
I've just finished supper and cleaned the dishes, but it's close to 9:15 pm. Too tired to do much else, though I'm going to try to do a bit of work on Sunday's rpg game session material after I type this entry, but we'll see how it goes.
