Glad work stuff sounds on track. I can guess that it's tough having to present health issues to a new person and hope that they get it and are able to accommodate you rather than make it into a contentious issue.

Yes, I was quite worried about this matter, given that the former boss and I had a good relationship in this matter. We'll see how things shape up with the new boss, and whether my life goes pear-shaped at all.

Good thing I already put in for vacation time during the GenCon week and a bit during August.

Your garage is run by incompetent boobs. If they hadn't screwed up over and over to pick up your car the head mechanic could have had it fixed before they went away.

The garage guys aren't nincompoops. I think it has to do with the fact that I wanted to get the car serviced around the Victoria Day weekend.

Yeah, they did screw up about picking the car up in the first place, but these things happen. (And that's been corrected now, so fait accompli.)
