Near the End of Geology Class Thoughts

What a beautiful day yesterday, the first day of Spring was.

I had a pretty good day yesterday, except for stuff at the office that I wrote about in this blog entry yesterday.

After coming home from work yesterday, I took it relatively easy until I had to leave for my evening Geology class. School last night was bittersweet, to say the least. There is only one more class before the course is over, and tonight's the night as they say. Last night's class was the second to last one of lectures and the like, and tonight is the final class with a bit of an oral quiz/exam included in it as well.

I learned last night that I've passed the course, regardless of how I do on the oral tonight, as apparently my field work has been pretty good overall and I've done pretty well on the academic tests to this point as well. Won't stop me from trying my best tonight, of course.

I have to say that I'm going to miss the Geology course and some of the people that I've met in the class. Part of this has to do with the fact that the class got me out of the house two nights a week, but it's more about the course material that I've covered and learned and the fact that I've been exercising my gray cells again for the first time in several years in a really interesting, somewhat creative, fashion.

After this, well... by passing the Geology course, I've got the pre-requisites to take the Palaeontology course that I want to take, but I've not decided yet whether I'll go for that in the Fall semester or whether I'll hold off a bit on that. I've got my health to consider somewhat in this equation, and on top of that, I have to admit that taking the course two nights wore me out somewhat during the middle of the week. That said, I have a bit of time to decide, and I really do want to take the Palaeo course, so...
