Home From the Doctor

Feb 21, 2012 16:12

Been back from the doctor's office for about an hour.

According to the scales in the doctor's office, I've lost 7.5 lbs. (that's 3.5 kilos for those who are metric). Had to stop off at the blood lab on the way home, as he decided to finally run some tests on me. I went for a Celiac test, an H. Pylori test, and a whole mass set of blood tests, and he'll be making an appointment for me with a gastrointestinal specialist, where they will set up both an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. They took way too much blood out of my body today, and my arm's hurting somewhat, especially since I'm still not recovered from the IV and blood stuff that was done at the hospital.

Stopped off at Swiss Chalet on the way home for a bit of food, and had some chicken soup and a roll for lunch. Not homemade Jewish penicillin of course, but not too bad. We'll see how I feel about that either late tonight or during the morning hours.

In the meantime, getting ready to head out to Geology class tonight. Looking forward to the class tonight, and just hope that my bowels stay...good.
