Yesterday was just a long day, although the most enjoyable part was my Geology class last night. The material being covered in the course is still fascinating to me, and keeping me entertained even with the school work and the field trip demands. I didn't sleep well last night at all, as this has been plaguing me the last couple of days, 'cause there's just sooooo much going on inside my head.
Woke up this morning feeling like I'd been run over by a sixteen-wheeler. My body feels like it's been through a grinder, and I've had very little sleep over the past couple of days, between early morning doctor and hospital appointments and evening Geology classes. I've still got an appointment today with the family physician after work to check out my basic condition and how I'm doing (when he asks, I'll say feeling run down), and then I probably should go in to one of the places that makes glasses and get the prescription filled from the appointment for that that I had on Tuesday. Since I've got the field trip on Saturday, I'm planning to get an early night tonight, and thinking I'll try to do the same on Friday night as well.
Speaking of which, I'm a little bit depressed that I won't be running the rpg on Friday night with the group, but since I have a 4:30am wake-up and the field trip for the Geology class on Saturday a.m., I just won't be able to manage the game on Friday night. Heck, I hope I can recover enough from the week to run the Sunday game, to be honest. There's the possibility that the Friday game may get played on Saturday night, but I've not committed to this yet; will wait and see how I feel on Saturday afternoon.
Anyway, back to the grind now.
