Another scorching hot day here in the Ottawa valley. The temperature is expected to reach a warmish 330C, with a humidex of around 40 degrees. Not comfortable weather, even with a window air conditioner, and I wish I had central air on a day like this.
Saturday was spent relaxing, and attempting to figure out what I plan to do about cash and money and that sort of thing for
GenCon. Two of the things I have no intention of doing is a) using my credit and/or debit cards at the convention; and b) walking around with scads of cash in my pocket. I've reached the conclusion that I will try and use Traveller's Cheques for the convention in a less than conventional manner. And no, I'm not going to explain what I mean by that. :)
On the subject of
GenCon Indy, I'm still saddened by the fact that I don't have full tables for my two
Primeval RPG game sessions. So if you have any free time on Thursday between 8 pm and midnight (GenCon Event - RPG1123816) and/or Saturday between 4 pm and 8 pm (GenCon Event - RPG1123820), please sign up and play in the games. I promise, you won't regret this at all, as the
Primeval RPG is just too good for words, easy to teach, and has simple game mechanics.
The rest of the day was spent doing a bit of reading, some grocery shopping for veggies and the like, starting to trasncribe the notes from Friday night's
Desolation game, and sketching out the plans for today's game of Desolation. I've got a bit more work to do today before the afternoon game, and hopefully
spross and Doug won't arrive so early that I don't get to finish the stuff I need to stat up and all.
So I had better get to it.
Later, folks.
