New Mattress Has Arrived!
I am the proud owner of a new bed! Okay, well, not a new bed, but at least the mattress.
The guys from Sleep Country arrived around 9:25 am this morning to deliver my new mattress, another Sealy Posturpedic, but this time a somewhat firmer mattress that is hopefully not defective. They didn't make a mess or anything in the process, just got the new mattress downstairs, unzipped it out of the plastic bag, took the defective one (I had stripped it of linen before they arrived, anticipating that I could keep the linens! ) and zipped it up in the same plastic bag, and got me to sign the paperwork. In and out inside of fifteen minutes. No muss, no fuss.
Have tested out the mattress after it was delivered, and took a quick nap for half an hour in the a.m., and the mattress seems all right. Just going to have to get used to sleeping on a slightly harder bed. This will likely be a good thing for my back. :)
