Back at work as per usual this morning.
Another day of snow here in the Ottawa valley, just "snow flurries" throughout the day is what the weather folks are calling it, but as I write this it's still snowing out there and has been since I left for work. I really do hate having to constantly clean the stuff off the car and all, let me tell you.
Caught the second episode of Series 4 of
Primeval last night, and while I enjoyed the episode, I have to say that I am finding the writing a bit below standard this Series so far. I'm not going to discuss a lot here, as I intend to post some reviews of the episodes of the new Series when I get a chance, but time has not been on my side this past week or so. Suffice it to say, I'm glad that Connor and Abby are back working at the ARC, I don't like Philip Burton at all and am quite suspicious about Matt, but I loved seeing Rex again! If nothing else, I am intrigued by the plots that are on-going, and will be interested to see what the truth is about certain things. Oh, I rather liked the Kaprosuchus, but agreed with author Rob Sawyer in his bit on Space's Inner Space sequence that the addition of the tusk/horn things were a bit too much, and there's no evidence for those in the fossil record.
When I get home today, I have a lot of stuff I need to do. Laundry awaits (the real mccoy, not the new RPG), and I want to do some more work on the
Primeval RPG scenario that I've got in draft state right now.
Meantime, back to my job here. I've got a nice, hot mug of Lipton Spiced Cinnamon Chai, but as mentioned in the comments on
elizalavelle's journal entry on it, I find this particular version of Chai less than...pure for my tastes. Doesn't stop me indulging in it from time to time, though. Anyway, work beckons.
