Had a pretty good evening of gaming last night. Despite the wintery conditions here in Ottawa (it dropped about 6 cms/2.5 inches of snow last night), the Friday nighters all showed up to play games

Ticket To Ride Europe may very well be my Boxing Day game purchase this year, but I'm not sure. I already have many games that only get trotted out once or twice a year. On the other hand, the Boxing Day game purchase is a bit of a personal tradition.

Incidentally, I strongly recommend playing Pandemic, if you haven't already. Fantastically fun game.

I've played Pandemic a couple of times, notably at the last CanGames actually, and rather enjoyed it, but have no desire at the moment to pick up the game and add it to massive number of board games in my cupboard.

As for Ticket to Ride, well... Europe is probably my favourite of the games in that line, but I also like Switzerland for its three-player format as well.
