Came home from work around 3:30 pm today, after an absolutely hectic and hellish Monday at work. Aside from the joy of an interesting language translation job today, the office was plagued with a rash of strawberry donuts (that flavour not being one that I like, I had no temptation), the office phone system was being worked on (resulting in all manner of phone disruptions and static), and then the computer system crashing for almost two hours.
When I got home, things started to look up a bit. I finally got my copy of
Thea Gilmore's Murphy's Heart CD in the snail mail, but it's the basic CD and doesn't have any bonus tracks on it (boo!! hiss!!). There were no bills in the snail post, for which I was grateful.
Downloading my e-mail, I found that Richard Iorio II of
Rogue Games has sent me the files to do the re-editing on the Shadow, Sword & Spell: Basic book. That's going to keep me busy for a few days/weeks, definitely, so I may or may not be blogging for the next little bit. Looking forward to doing the work on this, and then turning my attention to a few other rpg projects of my own. (I suspect I'm likely to have a few other game editing jobs to do before then as well, but that's another story.)
In the meantime, this evening is going to be taken up with watching the 2-hour episode of Dancing with the Stars, followed by Castle, and taping tonight's episode of The Event. By which time the
Ottawa Senators will have played their game against the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight.
So, my evening is planned out for me. :)
