This is going to be a very hot day. It's already getting up there temperature-wise, and the humidity is a bit high as well. Unfortunately, I'm at home

I constantly rant (here at home, of course) about the way one is told that the repair person will be at the house "sometime between 9AM and 5PM." I understand it on one level - they cannot be certain that they won't run into a snag somewhere along the way that will make them run late - but it's damned disruptive to the day for the poor slob left waiting all day.

Well, the basic repair of the dryer is now done. Fifteen minutes of work cost me $63.25, including the cost of the part - i.e., the fan belt!

Like you said, damn disruptive for the whole day. :(
