1) Sounds like a great birthday.

2) Of course I want to see Sakhut of River Ridge. That isn't a tribute to the Sacketts by any chance, is it? (I was alwasy partial to those Clinch Mountain boys, 'though they get themselves into a heap of trouble.

3) I end up taking the same role when Tim F runs the game. He scans the rules once, then tries to run it, and I end up being player/rules arbiter after the first dice roll.

Doug.

1. Yep, Doug, pretty good birthday. Didn't get to have a piece of my own cake until the Saturday (see Report 2).

2. Nope, a tribute to the Sacketts. At least, not consciously. Besides, I never thought that the Sacketts looked like Desolation mongrels! :) That's one request for Sakhut, so we'll see.

3. When I am playing in a game, I tell the Friday night or Sunday afternoon person running the game that I won't help out with rules or whatever unless I'm asked to do so, and I mean that. Nick tends to ask for my help, if it's a game that I run regularly, but spross doesn't tend to; he tends to be more intimidated by me playing than anything else (but perhaps he'll comment in this thread). :)

Tell your Desolation GM to contact me. I may have something to "lend" him for his next session ;-)

I can tell him, Stephen, but Nick doesn't have computers at home and all. While he's not a technophobe, he doesn't do any of the tech stuff at home, as he's a "down home" type of fellow.

Besides, what am I? Chopped liver? :)

It would ruin the surprise for you and the other players if you got to see what I was going to send :)

Obviously. However, like I said, Nick doesn't have a computer. Not even a PDA or anything like that.
