As noted in yesterday's blog entries, I went to the pharmacy during my outing for groceries and various errands and had my flu shot for the winter and the most recent COVID-19 vaccine jab as well.
I had a very rough night of it, to be honest, and wasn't sure how I'd be feeling this morning and whether I'd be up for running today's game session with the Sunday players. The fever abated in the early Sunday morning hours, but I've still got a headache, running nose, sinus pain, a bit of a sore throat, the usual aches and pains, and my right arm (where I had the COVID shot) hurts like hell at the point of injection. And I feel very tired, if not lethargic.
I don't feel too bad, other than that, though I feel like I didn't get a lot of sleep - or at least, restful sleep.
Not sure yet whether I intend to game this afternoon. Will wait another hour or so and see how I feel then.
In the meantime, I need some breakfast...and a cup of tea.
