Getting Ready for Friday Night Gaming
Considering it's the middle of October here in the Ottawa valley, it's been a very warm day. The day has mostly been sunny with overcast periods, and it may have rained a bit but I didn't really notice. The temperature reached around 18oC today, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) that was decent, but not great. I have a bit of pain in my chest today, and a touch of a mildly irritated throat. The bowel issues continue, and the pain on the right side of my body has not been good today.
I'll be gaming with the Friday night group this evening; the players should be arriving within the next hour or so. My lower back is hurting so will definitely need the players to do the heavy lifting for me tonight. The players are looking forward to this evening.
The players will be continuing on with their current case file in the Rivers of London: The Roleplaying Game RPG this evening. The players are looking forward to playing the game tonight, and while I've not done an awful lot of prep for this evening's session, I'm ready to game. I am looking forward to running the game tonight. Should be a lot of fun.
In the meantime, I need to go upstairs and make myself something nice and hot for supper.
