Getting Ready for Friday Night Gaming
It's been another Indian summer day here in the Ottawa valley today. Mostly sunny for the day, with periods of overcast skies at times and not much of a breeze, with quite humid weather. The temperature has been around 27oC with a humidex around 34oC, so not really comfortable. While my allergies weren't too bad today, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was somewhat bad. Still suffering some of the effects of the concussion I suffered a couple of weeks (??) ago, and have the usual aches and pains.
I'll be gaming with the Friday night group this evening; the players should be arriving within the next hour or so. Will definitely need the players to do the heavy lifting for me tonight, for reasons. The players are looking forward to this evening.
The players will be continuing on with their current case file in the Rivers of London: The Roleplaying Game RPG this evening. The players are looking forward to playing the game tonight, getting back to one of their favourite current games, and while I've not done an awful lot of prep for this evening's session, I'm ready to game. I am looking forward to running the game tonight. Should be a lot of fun.
In the meantime, I need to go upstairs and make myself something nice and hot for supper.
