It's been a nasty day of pouring rain, largely due to the effects of Hurricane Debbie, sometimes sheeting down in buckets, combined with a good deal of humidity. The temperature has been around 24oC with a humidex around 30oC, so not really comfortable. My body aches and pains persist, my right shoulder and right hip/leg are quite bad at the moment, and my allergies have been middling today. I've taken it relatively easy today, staying inside with the windows closed and the air conditioner (with the HEPA filter) on.
I'll be gaming with the Friday night group this evening; the players should be arriving within the next hour or so. Will definitely need the players to do the heavy lifting for me tonight, for obvious reasons. The players are looking forward to this evening.
The players will be switching to the
Rivers of London: The Roleplaying Game RPG this evening, starting a brand new case file. The players are looking forward to playing the game tonight, getting back into one of their favourite current games, and while I've not done an awful lot of prep for this evening's session, I'm ready to game. I am looking forward to running the game tonight. Should be a lot of fun.
In the meantime, I need to go upstairs and make myself something nice and hot for supper.
Have a good evening, folks. :)
