It's a somewhat cool, but atypically warm day here in February once more in the Ottawa valley. It's been relatively cloudy outside so far today, but the sun has valiantly made several attempts at showing through the cloud cover. The temperature is currently 2oC outside, with a wind chill just a bit cooler than that, and is expected to be very Spring-like tomorrow, but that's neither here nor there. I'm feeling somewhat under the weather today, my right shoulder and lower back are hurting quite a bit, and am still suffering from the wounds inflicted on my abdomen/intestines with the latest round of biopsies on Thursday. Same old, same old.
I'll be gaming with the Sunday afternoon group today; the players should be arriving within the next hour or so. I hope. I'll be getting the players to do the heavy, and not so heavy, lifting for me today since I don't want to take a chance with the biopsy wound site opening up. The players are quite looking forward to this session, as I understand it.
The players will be starting their
Doctor Who Roleplaying Game campaign properly this afternoon. I'm going to be using one of Patrick Troughton's Doctor's old foes for the scenario that I'll run. :) The players are looking forward to playing the game this afternoon, and I'm quite looking forward to running the game this afternoon. Should be a lot of fun.
In the meantime, I need to go upstairs and have a cup of hot tea while I wait for the gamers.
Have a good afternoon, folks. :)
