Happy Thanksgiving Day!
Happy Thanksgiving Day, Canada!
It's a relatively typical early October day here in Ottawa for Thanksgiving Day. The day is quite cool, with the windchill making it feel somewhat colder. The temperature outside as I write this is around 5oC but feels about 1oC. Nothing that a nice, hot cup of coffee or tea won't help to keep the chill out of the bones and all that.
I want to wish all my Canadian friends a very good day, and one that is filled with all sorts of reasons for being thankful. To honour this day, I thought I would just share a bit of Canadian music from Nova Scotia musician Melanie Doane...
