Yes, I kid you not. This is something that the comic book publishers and the comic book stores do once a year, as a special promotion of comics books and the like, and many of the actual comic book stores make a big deal of it, with all kinds of stuff.
If you're a comic books reader, go out and support your comic book shoppe today. If you're not a comic books reader, today's a chance to find out what you're missing. If you know some kids who are potential comic book readers, today is an excellent day to get them hooked on this wonderful, visual, storytelling medium. Just remember to play things safe, and perhaps wear a mask in the comic book shoppe that you go to.
