Coriolis RPG Wake of the Icons Package Arrived!
I've been waiting for the product to arrive since it was announced in late 2022 that Fria Ligan/Free League Publishing would be putting out the third part of the Mercy of the Icons massive adventure for the Coriolis - The Third Horizon RPG in the first quarter of 2023. I pre-ordered the product at that time, and while I've had the PDF of it for a bit, I don't tend to read documents on the computer so was waiting patiently for the physical book and the accompanying Map Pack to come out as well.
Well, it's here! The package arrived today in the snail mail, the adventure book and the map packet securely protected with a good amount of bubble wrap. Wake of the Icons looks really good, and on first glance there's a lot going on in the scenarios presented within, and a whole section on the Horizon Wars which I'm really looking forward to getting into.
My only real concern with this adventure is what it means for the Coriolis - The Third Horizon RPG game line. This third part of the Mercy of the Icons campaign alters the nature of the Third Horizon in some fundamental ways, and I can but hope that Free League Publishing has some plans to keep the line going and perhaps to make the game new and fresh, especially for gamers who might potentially travel to the Third Horizon.
But I guess only time will tell.
