First Day of Spring (Vernal Equinox)
Good morning, everyone!
Today is the first day of Spring. The equinox. This first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere is a sign of rebirth and a time of tradition. It's a harmonious balance between day and night - and a ray of hope in world that could really use some right now.
The weather here promises to be a bit milder than most mid-March days, with a temperature of around 3oC. Expecting a mostly overcast day, with periods of snow starting later in the day (to remind us that winter isn't over yet). A relatively decent day, other than how damp everything feels. (Not helping with my wounded foot.) This is Ottawa, so one expects whatever weather one expects. :)
