We continue on today with #RPGaDay2022 for August.
Day 28 - Roll 1d8+1, and tag that many friends with your favourite RPG cover art.
As with the previous Sunday business about tagging friends, I'm not going to do that.
Without a doubt, it has to be this, the cover for the 2nd Edition boxed set of the SkyRealms of Jorune RPG. Back in the early mid-1980s, this piece of art by Miles Teves was one that stopped me dead in the store, and thought, "Who or *what* are all these beings? And what's going on in this image, what's the story?!" It turned out to be a science fantasy rpg (my first real exposure to that genre, unless you count the Empire of the Petal Throne RPG along those lines). The stunning cover art was just a sample of what Miles Teves was going to provide readers of the game, to be honest, but this cover just drew me in, hook, line and sinker. (Oh, and the fella lying down is a Shantha, and the lizard-like fella is a Corastin.) :)
'Nuff said. :)
And there you have it, my thoughts on this twenty-eighth day of #RPGaDay for August, 2022.
Comments, thoughts, questions, etc. are all welcome, of course. :)
