Actress, singer, dancer, and inspiration to generations of women Nichelle Nichols has died today at the age of 89.
Best known for her role as Nyota Uhura on the original Star Trek tv series, Nichelle Nichols was an extraordinary black woman and a trailblazer and an inspiration.
I really am at a loss for words here. You will be missed.
