First Day of Spring (Vernal Equinox)

Today is the first day of Spring. The equinox. This first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere is a sign of rebirth and a time of tradition. It's a harmonious balance between day and night - and a ray of hope in world that could really use some right now.
The weather here promises to be a mid-March day, with a temperature of around 8oC. Expecting a mostly cloudy day with periods of rain, and perhaps the sun sneaking out for short periods. A relatively decent day, other than the damp. . This is Ottawa, so one expects whatever weather one expects. :)
