Well, it's done.
As noted in
this entry on December 23rd, I had my third jab of the COVID-19 vaccine. Also as noted in
this entry from December 26th, I found myself back in the hospital on Christmas Eve suffering once more from myocarditis. Possibly due to the vaccine shot, again. Due to the two occurrences of myocarditis after the second and third vaccine shots, I spoke to the doctor again, and he decided to get on the ball and book me for tests at the Heart Institute here in Ottawa. Suffice it to say, I had my heart tests yesterday evening, and...that was not fun.
I'm not going to go into any details on the tests that were done, but... The tests were scheduled to start at 6:15pm last night, and indeed they did. I had to be at the Heart Institute half-an-hour early so that they could take down medical history and do the paperwork, and got there on time. I only saw the reception staff at the main desk, one other patient, and the technicians and doctor who did the tests. The tests began exactly on time. Almost 4 hours later, the tests were complete. I will say they were painful, stressful, and not something I want to have again any time soon. Made worse in some ways by having to wear the mask due to COVID times, since breathing and a bit of panic was an issue during the tests.
I got home some time after 11:00pm last night, and after a light snack and a bit of tea, just retired for the night.
Today, I'm feeling completely out of sorts, still hurting a bit from the tests, having a few heart palpitations and some difficulty breathing. (I was told that the latter two symptoms are normal for after the tests.) All I can do now is wait for the test results to come back, and see what the situation is and whether I've got myocarditis due to the vaccine or whether it's part of any underlying condition.
Today, I'm just resting at home, and taking it easy.
